AntiTreeCamper
Ends prolonged tree camping without punishing normal movement.
Designed by HypJoServer-side implementation
About This Mod
Tree camping turns firefights into a waiting game. HypAntiTreeCamper watches for players who settle inside an actual tree and builds an exposure meter for as long as they stay put.
Detection is strict by design: only real tree geometry counts. Bushes, tall grass, ladders, stumps, clutter and simply standing next to a tree never start exposure, and players who keep moving build it far more slowly or not at all.
As exposure climbs you get yellow on-screen warnings at 25%, 50% and 75%. With the optional HypAntiTreeCamper Voice companion pack, each stage also plays a spoken warning. Ignore them and the cold sets in: freezing symptoms plus health and shock damage that ramp up the longer you stay, with extra scaling for repeat offenders. Firing or swinging a weapon from inside a tree can trigger an immediate cold hit.
Fresh spawns, unconscious, restrained and badly injured players, and anyone in a vehicle are exempt. Exposure is saved, so reconnecting does not reset it.
